Arriving by Car

  • If you come by car via Munich take the A8 in direction to Salzburg. This leads directly to Salzburg.
  • If you come by car via Vienna take the motorway A1. This leads directly to Salzburg.
  • If you come by car from Italy take the motorway Brenner - Innsbruck - Kufstein - Rosenheim - A8 - Salzburg.
  • If you come by car from South East via Slovenia take in Austria either the motorway A9 and then A1 (when you come through Graz) or the motorway A10 (when you come through Villach)
  • In general Salzburg is directly reachable by main motorway routes from all directions.


Arriving by Train
